I. Info on Druids

For low level players (20-55), Chaos Druid slaying is a great way to earn cash. Requiring little preparation, skills, or special gear, it's easy to go on a trip to the Druids on just about any type of account.

The main lure of Chaos Druids is their tendancy to frequently drop herbs, including valuable Ranarrs. While the total loot you can bring back from the Druids varies with every trip, it's not uncommon to bring back over 50K worth of loot per trip.

II. Required/Suggested Skill Levels

Chaos Druids are combat level 13 with 20 hitpoints, but can still be a danger to lower-level players in number. The following combat levels are recommended for a profitable trip to the Chaos Druids: Melee > 1 Attack and 40+ Str, or 20 Attack and 30+ Str. Range > 40+ Range. Mage > 30+ Mage.

III. What to Bring

Chaos Druids are incredibly easy to kill, and only have a few attack styles: binding, weakening and melee. You don't need to bring high-level armor to sucessfully bring back an inventory of loot from the Druids, but the right armor and equipment can make your trips much faster.

• Melee > Should wear range armour with a magic defence bonus, as bind affects you alot.
• Range > Any armor with decent melee defence.

Bring the best weapon you can afford, and several hundred arrows/runes for mages and rangers. DO NOT wear a Ring of Wealth - while Ranarrs are the most valuable item you can get from the Chaos Druids, the Ring of Wealth will NOT increase your chances of getting one.

IV. Finding the Druids

The Chaos Druids live in the wilderness, with the biggest congregation inhabiting a chamber of the Edgeville Dungeon. You can access the Edgeville Dungeon with a brass key through the shack near the Grand Exchange, or you can take the ladder found among the Edgeville ruins. The Chaos Druids are located in the chamber marked "16" on the map of the Northern half of the Edgeville Dungeon to the right.

Note that this is just within the boundaries of the Wilderness - Revenants are known to roam here, and you will be in danger on a PvP or Bounty Hunter world. Plan accordingly, and be ready to make a short detour if you notice a Revenant coming your way.

V. Loot

Chaos Druids yield a variety of valuable loot, including a good collection of grimy herbs as well as useful runes and weapons of several types. Of all the available loot, grimy Ranarrs are the most common and the most valuable - fetching up to 20K apiece depending on the current market price. An average inventory can be anywhere from 40,000gp to 80,000gp or more depending on your equipment, levels, and luck.

Bring your loot back to the Edgeville bank via an Amulet of Glory teleport or a short jog through the dungeon, and repeat as many times as you wish. Food is easy to come by at the fishing spot south by Barbarian Village, or next door at the Grand Exchange. Best of luck!
